Right now

Your life is scattered across too many lists.

Personal things in Notepad. A list for the house. One for the side business. Another for work.

Circles are shared. Your list is yours. Make a circle, invite the people, hand them a task.

The cost

You can’t see it all, and you can’t hand it over.

You open one list and miss the others. None of them let you invite someone and hand them the task.

Scattered

You keep too many lists

Personal things in Notepad. The house and the housework. The side business. Work. You open one and miss the others.

Stuck

You can’t hand any of it over

The lists stay with you. You can’t invite the people in the house, or on a community project, and hand them a task.

Personal

Your list is just yours

When a project grows and others join, the task needs to go somewhere they can see it. Copy it by hand and it gets lost.

The way out

Circles you can share. One list that is yours.

Make a circle for the house, the side business, or the community project. Invite the people. Hand a task to someone in that circle. Your list shows everything with your name on it.

How it works

Make a circle. Hand over the task. Work from your list.

Circles are shared. Your list is yours.

1

Make a circle

The house. The side business. The community project. A circle is where that part of your life is shared.

2

Invite them, and hand them a task

They join that circle. Put their name on the task. It stays in the circle, and they see it.

3

You work from your list

Your list is everything with your name on it, from every circle. The leaking tap. The September invoice. The hall on Friday.

Same circles. Different tasks for each person.

  • House
  • Side business
  • Personal
  • Community

Your tasks

  • Fix the leaking tapHouse
  • Send the September invoiceSide business
  • Book the hall, FriCommunity

Someone else’s tasks

  • Get three quotes for the roof tiles J House
  • Chase the council about the permit M Community

Each circle keeps its own tasks. Your list shows only what is assigned to you.

What you get

You do what you said you’d do.

One sitting

You see what you owe

The leaking tap. The September invoice. The hall on Friday. Your list holds them together.

Hand it over

You can give a task to someone

Invite them into the circle. Put their name on the task. They see it. You don’t chase them through a chat.

Separate

Each circle stays its own

The house stays the house. The side business stays the side business. You don’t mix them.

Yours

Your list is only yours

Someone in the house doesn’t see the side business. They don’t see your list. You don’t see a circle you aren’t in.

Questions

Before you download.

Does it replace Jira or my work tools?

No. Keep work where it is. A work list can still be one of the lists you juggle. Trove is for the circles you share around that.

Does everyone have to switch?

No. Invite the people into a circle when that part of life is shared. A task shows on your list when it has your name on it.

Is it private?

People in a circle see that circle’s tasks. They don’t see your other circles. Your list is only yours.

Does it work on Mac?

Yes. Download it on the Mac App Store. iPhone and iPad are on the App Store.
